Dr. Pablo Jenaro Martí is a specialist in refractive, cataract and corneal surgery in Girona with extensive experience in innovative treatments to improve eye health.
My relationship with ophthalmology began at a very young age. At just three years old, I had to wear glasses due to hypermetropia, which led me to visit the ophthalmologist frequently. During my adolescence, I developed a deep curiosity for science, which ultimately guided me toward choosing a career in medicine.
While studying medicine, I wished to undergo surgery to eliminate my glasses, but I was not a good candidate, and I still am not. Meeting excellent professionals along the way left a lasting impact on me. I discovered a passion for ocular surgery, which solidified my decision to specialize in ophthalmology. During my residency, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the implementation of groundbreaking corneal transplant techniques that have revolutionized the field of ophthalmology. After completing my residency, I was hired at the Hospital de l’Esperança in Barcelona, where I was part of the corneal team for six highly rewarding years, three of which I spent as a resident tutor.
Since July 2023, I have been an integral member of the corneal team at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, where I conduct most of my work, alongside my role at Oftalis. In my practice, my goal is to find the best solution for your ocular health.
